Happy Halloween!

We had a really fun Halloween today. We went out to my sister's for dinner and trick-or-treating with a bunch of the cousin's. Bentley's favorite thing in this whole world are dogs...so we thought it was only appropriate for him to be a puppy for Halloween! He was adorable.

Costumes: Facebook, Puppy, and Kitty cat.

Bentley, or should I say our little puppy, caught on to the whole "trick-or-treating" thing pretty fast.

Daddy and puppy stop and pose for a picture together. The only way Bentley would keep his puppy hat on was if he was distracted by this purple necklace. Rock on.

Bentley and Emma are the two cuttest puppies I've ever seen. It had been awhile since these two had seen each other, so it was fun to watch them play together and get to know each other a little better.

Caleb and Bentley rocking out on the piano. I dubbed these two new BFF's. Bentley would follow him around and was so interested in what Caleb was up to.

Bentley was scared out of his mind of this dude with the mask. He busted out in tears and wouldn't take his treat from him.

I love this picture. Both of their faces say it all.
We are off tomorrow morning for a much needed vacation for the next week! Boo-ya Baby.

The Cake

Blowing out the candles with daddy.

Devouring the cake.

The presents!

Birthday morning eating chocolate chip pancakes...so yummy!

Birthday lunch at McDonalds...Buddy loved the playhouse.

Birthday fun at Kangaroo Zoo. This is our new favorite place!

Bentley re-creating his birth! Haha

This is me and the birthday boy right before we go down...

This! Scary.

Daddy and the birthday boy share a quick sucker and hug before dad jets off to class.
All-in-all I think Bentley had a great day and had lots of fun!!! Happy B-day B-dawg.

Birthday Wishes!

Yep, you guessed it...my baby turns the big 1 today!!! I cannot believe how fast this past year has flown by. He is our everything and we have been so blessed to have him in our lives. I don't know what we ever did without him. He is such a great boy and we love him with all of our hearts!!!

I know the birthday boy is supposed to make his own birthday wishes...but I have a few wishes myself.
I wish that Bentley grows into a healthy, happy, good boy. I wish that he always keeps his sense of adventure and spunk. I wish that he continues to like books as much as he does now. I wish that he will always love giving me hugs and kisses like he does today. I wish that he will always want to hang out with mommy and daddy. I wish that the next hundred years with him are as great as this first year. I wish that he always remembers that he is a child of God. I wish that he will always like playing at the park, no matter how old he gets. I wish he can continue to be as sweet, nice, and sharing as he is now. I wish he keeps his funny little giggle for the rest of his life. I wish a million more things for my little buddy, but most importantly, I wish that Bentley could truly understand how much his daddy and mommy love him!!!

Happy Birthday buddy, You're the best!

Pumpkin Eater

This post is all about the pumkins!!! I've totally enjoyed going out with Bentley and enjoying as many pumkins as thought possible!
There is a house in Orem that sells pumkins by the boat loads and buddy and I wanted to get our hands on some. We went and picked out a couple for the house and are going to carve them one of these nights. He was fascinated by the sea of orange and was sad when we had to leave.

Earlier this week we went to PumkinLand and it was so much fun. Daddy had class and couldn't come with us so we are going to be taking him back with us!

Bentley totally loved these little cut out picture spots. He thought they were the coolest toys and was crawling in and out of them. I had to literally pull him away from them...didn't go over too well.

They have a fun little corn maze that we walked through. I forgot my stroller so Bentley got the chance to cruise around and explore on his own. He loved it!

Peek a boo!

I made him stop and take a picture with his mommy while we were lost in the maze. I love my little boy and had a lot of fun with him. If you are ever in a bad mood and need someone to cheer you up...give Bentley a call. He will put a smile on your face in .2 seconds! He's my little pumkin eater!

My mom, Bentley, and I went to Gardner Village the other day and had so much fun!

It is decorated super cute for Halloween with lots of pumpkins, hay, and witches. They had tons of awesome picture spots and we got some really fun pictures together.
I absolutely love this picture of my mom and Bentley together. They were just having a little "talk". He loves his grandma so much and always has lots of fun with her.

I loved all the pumpkins...and so did Bentley. I don't usually like Halloween too much, but all the orange pumpkins really got me excited and in the mood for the holiday.

How stinkin' cute is that smile?!
I just can't resist him in this picture it melts my heart. He is my little buddy and I love him so much!
We had a great time and I would totally recommend getting out to Gardner Village if you get the chance before Halloween!

That's what FRIENDS are for...

So the other night I had a girls night out with my two beautiful cousins, Melissa and McKenzie. We have always been really close but time just doesn't allow for us to get together as often as we would like. We were able to get together this week and enjoy some time with each other and had a really nice evening together.

They are such amazing women and great examples to me and I am so proud to call them family!

They are both expecting right now and I am in love with their baby bumps. I went home and told Taylor that I want a baby bump!! haha.
McKenzie is having her first and Melissa is having her third.

We can be pretty crazy when we get together but that's what I love about them. We have so much fun together and laugh a lot when we get around each other. If you ask me, that's what friends are for...and what better friends to have than cousins!!!

Yippee

Yeah! It is official...I am oficially a stay-at-home mom! I am so excited and grateful to get to hang out all day with this guy. He is such a joy in my life and brings me such happiness and love. I am really looking forward to being able to focus more of my attention on Bentley throughout the day and spending some good quality time with him. I am also looking forward to doing more cooking, cleaning, reading, exercising, and whatever else I feel so inclined to do throughout the day!
I am so grateful for a husband who works his butt off to provide for our family, which allows me to stay at home and do what is most important. He truly is the hardest worker I have ever known. He has so much on his plate with work, school, family, etc. yet he finds time to get it all done and keep a smile on his face and everyone else's.
He is my hero. 'Nuff said.
