Why I love my Bentley...

Our Valentine's "Staycation"

So I don't know what it is about this winter, but it is totally killing me. I told Taylor that I needed a getaway, just to get out of the house...even if it was just up the street. So that is just what we did. We went and enjoyed a little getaway just the three of us and had an awesome time! Here we go...all packed up and ready for some fun!

We decided to go up to the Gateway and take Bentley to the Discovery Gateway Museum. He totally loved everything about it.

Bentley loved the machine that sucked all the balls up into the sky.

But he loved the water area even more!!!

Buddy and I even got a chance to practice our awesome moves for the news.

Horse riding was not Bentley's thing. Totally not intersted.

But him and daddy sure loved the chopper outside.

After the museum we went and enjoyed a burger at Taylor's favorite place in the world...

And then it was off to our hotel. Tay's face says it all! The room was about 10x10 and way bizarre. We went swimming there as well...even more ghetto and bizarre. It was all good though. We had a great time and we were together and that's all that mattered. It was the perfect Valentines getaway with my two favorite people in the world. What more could anyone ask for?!

We got to go down and enjoy Valentine's dinner down at Taylor's parent's house. Tay got plenty of V-day love as you can tell here in this picture. Smooches all day long!

5 Years Ago Today...

This handsome man asked me to marry him! And I said YES!!!

It has been the best 5 years of my life and I am thankful every single day to have you in my life.

You mean the world to me and I would be lost without you. You are my knight in shinning armor and you truly are my hero.

You are awesome at all you do. But most of all, you are an awesome husband and father! Thank you for that.

I love you forever!

Lately...

We have been seeing a lot of this. Wowza...I am hoping it is because of teething.

He still only has his two bottom teeth at 15 1/2 months old, so I am convinced he is going to get about 6 teeth at once. Poor little guy.

Regardless, we are dealing with a lot of attitude. Gotta love it. I just have to remind myself that someday I will be longing to have these moments back.

So I just take it all in.

More or less.

And I do have to give the little guy props because most of the time he is like this.

And I quickly remember how sweet and joyful he is, and how much I truly love him.

He is my pride and joy!

And his daddy's too!!!
